Bemidji senior Craig Lindseth returns a serve on Tuesday afternoon against a Detroit Lakes opponent. Lindseth and partner Jack Boyer won their doubles match over Chandler Hanks and Caleb Howard, 6-1, 6-3, getting it in just before the rains came and halted the dual meet prematurely. Bemidji holds on to beat Detroit Lakes despite rain

BEMIDJI -- The Bemidji tennis team found a way to play one of its two scheduled dual meets Tuesday afternoon. But just barely.

After waiting nearly two hours to start their first scheduled meet against Detroit Lakes due to sporadic rain in the area, the Lumberjacks worked to dry the tennis courts at Bemidji High School not once, not twice but three times.
