Bemidji High School girls basketball team routs Lakers 77-38
The Bemidji High girls basketball team had few problems Tuesday night, rolling past Detroit Lakes 77-38 at Ralph Anderson Gymnasium,
It completed a home-and home-sweep for Bemidji, which won the home meeting 74-32 in December.
"We played one of our best games of the year," said Coach Rick Kehoe. "Our defense was excellent, especially the halfcourt defense."
Kayla Hirt had a hot hand from the start hitting 11 of 13 tries including four 3-pointers.
