Bemidji guitarist in 'Saw VI' soundtrack, will play in Bemidji

Matt Jensen, a 2006 Bemidji High School graduate, is the guitarist for the Minneapolis band My My Misfire, whose music is featured on the "Saw VI" soundtrack and who will play in Bemidji next week.

My My Misfire, Four Letter Lie, These Hearts, To Say The Least and Lost in Prague will play at the Elks Club Friday, Oct. 9. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the music will starts at 6 p.m. The cost is $10.00.

Other band members in My My Misfire are Aaron Birdsall, Aaron "Peewee" Felt and Jordan Felt.

Jensen was formerly a member of the Bemidji band Afilio, which has disbanded, perhaps permanently, according to the band's MySpace page (myspace.com/afilio).

The "Saw VI" soundtrack features brand new and unreleased music, including My My Misfire's "The Sinatra."

"We are stoked about this soundtrack as we've managed to place songs from some of the most exciting hard rock and metal bands in the scene on this one," said Josh Grabelle of Trustkill Records. "We are all huge fans of the Saw movies and are ready to knock this one out of the park."
