Bemidji golfers struggle at Brainerd Invitational
BRAINERD — The Bemidji boys golf team struggled Wednesday at the Brainerd Invitational which was played at The Pines as the Lumberjacks finished 11th in the 16-team field after shooting 348.
“We had many big numbers on our cards,” said BHS coach Seth Knudson. “The poor weather was part of it but we really didn’t play well.
“If we want to have any chance at winning the section meet we will have to shoot 35 strokes better.”
Bemidji will have the opportunity to play on the section course today when the Jacks participate in the Melrose Invitational at Greystone Golf Course.
