Bemidji girls playoff hockey game moved ahead to 6 p.m. Saturday

BEMIDJI – Saturday’s Section 8-2A girls hockey playoff game between Bemidji and St. Cloud has been advanced to a 6 p.m. start at the Community Arena.

Originally scheduled for 7 p.m., Saturday’s game was moved so it will immediately follow the boys regular season game against Moorhead which begins at 3 p.m.

Bemidji was rewarded with the home playoff quarterfinal game by finishing fourth in the section seedings. St. Cloud is rated fifth.

The Lumberjacks finished the regular season 10-9-5 and 5-3-1 against section opponents. St. Cloud is 14-10-1 but only 5-5 in the section.

The section semifinals are scheduled for Tuesday and the final will be Friday, Feb. 15.
