Bemidji girls golf team fourth at Wadena Invite
The Bemidji girls golf team finished fourth at Saturday's eight-team invitational held in Wadena.
BHS carded a team score of 385 and trailed Grand Rapids which shot 328, Detroit Lakes which fired a 339 and Staples-Motley which had a 369.
Dani Delgreco of Grand Rapids was medalist with a 78 on the par 36-36-72 layout.
Bemidji's best was the 88 of Meg Phelps. Katelin Craft shot 95, Megan Dondelinger 101, Kelsey Isaacson 101 and Hailey Hinners 117.
"It rained the entire day but the conditions didn't seem to bother some of the golfers," said Bemidji coach Jeff Nelson. "Some of the kids played as if they didn't know it was raining. As for Bemidji, we had a tough day."
The Lumberjacks return to action Tuesday at the Detroit Lakes Country Club.
