Bemidji gets revenge on Crookston

Email

BEMIDJI -- The Bemidji tennis team avenged an earlier loss to Crookston with a 5-2 win against the Pirates Monday afternoon.

"We lost to them 5-2 earlier this season," Lumberjacks head coach Mark Fodness said. "To lose like that and come back and win tonight... I'm just very impressed with our mental toughness."

The Lumberjacks swept doubles play 3-0, and split the singles matches 2-2.

In a few instances, the Lumberjacks had to battle back from big deficits to win.
