The Bemidji gymnastics team continued its improvement Friday at the Alexandria Quadrangular as the Lumberjacks reached a high-water mark for the season by scoring 135.4 points.
The effort gave BHS second place in the four-team meet. Alexandria won with 140.85 while New London-Spicer scored 130.2 and Frazee 94.2
"We had some very good performances and it is nice to see the constant improvement," said Bemidji coach Don Papreck.
Katie Jensen paced the Jacks as she was fifth in the all around with a score of 34.55. Sara Erickson scored 33.5 to take sixth and Amy Carey was seventh with 33.1. Jessica Bergquist also competed in the all around and was eighth with 32.7.
Jensen was second in the vault, fourth on the beam, sixth on the bars and seventh on the floor.
Saturday finds Bemidji at the Moorhead Invitational.
