Bemidji film premiere approaches
BEMIDJI – The Beltrami County Historical Society announces the completion of Bemidji the Middle Years: 1941-1961, a co-production of the Beltrami County Historical Society and Gary Burger Video Audio. The documentary covers the time of the Pearl Harbor bombing to John F. Kennedy’s election. It features interviews, motion picture footage, original music and photographs that tell the story of Beltrami County residents during the tumultuous and fascinating time period. The gala film premiere of the documentary will be at 7 p.m. Jan. 19 at the Historic Chief Theater. Admission is free. Copies of the film will be available for sale at the premiere or can be ordered online at www.beltramihistory.org. The documentary was made possible by support of the George W. Neilson Foundation, Beltrami County, Region 2 Arts Council, Pat Riley, Natalie Roholt, H.B. and Ina Roholt, and participation of area residents.
