Bemidji crime report for May 5-6
Sheriff’s Report The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls on Monday: Weapons 11:17 a.m. A 23-year-old man was arrested for falsely reporting a crime and a 23-year-old man was cited following a reported assault with a firearm on East Movil Lake Road NE.
Animal 3:47 p.m. Sheriff’s Office investigated an animal neglect situation in Hornet Township. Deputy had questions/concerns regarding two of 11 horses examined. Card left at residence on the 27400 block of Three Mile Road NE Blackduck.
Disorderly conduct 4:02 p.m. A dead porcupine was stuffed inside a mailbox on the 32500 block of Highway 72 NE in Blackduck.
Warrant 8:05 p.m. A 32-year-old woman was arrested on a warrant on the 5000 block of Theater Lane NW.
Police Report The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls on Monday: Burglary 12:06 p.m. A burglary was reported on the 1100 block of Railroad Street SE.
Harassment 1:05 p.m. A 32-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman were arrested following a harassment call involving a dispute between relatives on the 1300 block of Anne Street NW.
Violation 4:02 p.m. A 35-year-old man was arrested on an active arrest and detain from probation on the 600 block of Beltrami Ave. NW.
Warrant 6:32 p.m. A juvenile male turned himself in on a warrant.
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls on Tuesday: Theft 1:33 a.m. A 23-year-old woman was cited for shoplifting on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Drive NW.
