Admission is free, but donations to the Chorale are gladly accepted. There will be an ice cream social held after the concert.

The concert will feature the variety of musical styles that the Chorale is known for. Audience participation is encouraged as the Chorale begins the concert with "America the Beautiful."

Soloists for the concert include Jim Dougherty in "My Soul's Been Anchored in the Lord" by Moses Hogan; Shar Paquette and Dallas Dubke in "City Called Heaven" by Josephine Poelinitz; Kathy Shea and Jim Dougherty in "Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep" by Phil Mattson and Jack Pellinen in "Loch Lomond" by Johnathan Quick. The Chorale is delighted to feature clarinetist Erica Svanoe in "How Sweet and Fair" by Stephen Chatman.

The Bemidji Choral will premiere two original compositions by Bemidji State University senior Jake Kaehne. He will be the guest conductor for his own works "Stairs" and "Doxology."

Along with choral compositions such as "Ukrainian Alleluia" by Craig Courtney and "Prayer" by Rene Clausen, which used the words of Mother Theresa, the Chorale will perform "Moonglow" arranged by Darmon Meader, featuring Wayne Hoff on the piano and "El Hambo" by Jaakko Mantyjarvi.

This activity is funded, in part, by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund as appropriated by the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on Nov. 4, 2008.
