Bemidji Chamber Ambassadors visit St. Philip's Clothing Depot
Bemidji Chamber Ambassadors visited the St. Philip’s Clothing Depot in their new location on the corner of Eighth Street and Beltrami Avenue Northwest. The Clothing Depot is a not-for-profit, non-denominational organization that provides free and low-cost apparel and household items to those in need. Staffed fully by volunteers, hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Proceeds go directly back into the community, to organizations such as the Bemidji Community Food Shelf. From left are Ambassadors Russ Moen, Rachael Johnson and Dick Beitzel; President Betty Wiebolt, secretary-treasurer Darlene Weber, Manager Norma Himmelright, Assistant Manager Shirley Curtis and the Rev. Don Braukmann; and Ambassadors Kim Nelson, DeAnn Zavoral and Cindy Todavich.
