The tournament opener will be at a 10 a.m. and will find Cass Lake taking on Crookston.

The Blue Ox is the top seed from the Lake and Pine League after winning the regular season and conference playoff tournament.

Cass Lake is the No. 2 seed from the Lake and Pine.

Ada is the No. 2 seed from the Norman-Polk League and Crookston was the runner-up in the Northwest Border conference playoffs.

If the Blue Ox wins its first game today it will advance into the winner's bracket and face Roseau, the No. 1 seed from the Northwest Border at 7 p.m. today.

A loss would drop Bemidji into the elimination rounds and a 1 p.m. Sunday game.

A Cass Lake victory would send the Reds into the winner's bracket and they would battle Moorhead, the top seed from the Norman-Polk, at 4 p.m. today. A loss, however, would mean that Cass Lake would face an elimination game at 10 a.m. Sunday.

The Region 10-C playoff field will be sliced to three teams after Sunday's action and those teams will return to Ada on Aug. 10 to conclude the tournament and determine the two region representatives to the state Class C tournament.

The state meet will begin Aug. 16 in Maple Lake and Delano.
