Bemidji band makes ... well, noise

BEMIDJI - A Bemidji band that is making itself known throughout the area is Good Noise, a high-energy five-piece ensemble with a wide range of musical styles.

They will be playing from 6-8 tonight at the 2nd Street Stage event for the Park Rapids Downtown Business Association celebrate summer events.

The group includes Eric Carlson on the guitar and vocals; Katie Houg on the keys and vocals; Brett Cease on vocals, cello and saxophone; Mark Bauer on drums; and Jordan Lindquist on electric violin.

The event includes a beer garden with musical groups, snacks and activities for all the family.

The Park Rapids Downtown Business Association will host the 2nd Street Stage events from 6-8 p.m. Thursdays until Aug. 16.

Other upcoming bands include Tree Party on July 5 and The Color Pharmacy July 12.
