Bemidji Aviation acquires new Metro III aircraft

Bemidji Aviation recently acquired this Fairchild Metro III aircraft. Two of the aircraft were purchased in Australia and ferried to Bemidji via Somoa and Hilo, Hawaii. These larger aircraft will be used in cargo operations. Maintenance staff has been added in Bemidji, where the aircraft will be maintained. The pilots flying the aircraft recently returned from training at Flight Safety International. The Metro IIIs can carry up to 5,000 pounds of cargo. Pioneer Photo/Monte Draper
