Bemidji artists honored at Artists of Minnesota Show

Three Bemidji artists received awards at the Artists of Minnesota Show held recently in Grand Rapids. Seventy five artists attended with 170 pieces of art exhibited for judging. Award winners were: Dee Anne Najjar, left, beginner's category, awarded first place for "Brown Eyes" and second place for "Midsommar" both in pastels. In intermediate transparent, Pat Shough was awarded a merit and member's choice for her watercolor "Meeting at the Wall," and Ron Lyman received second place and a member's choice for "Autumn Light" painted in oils.
