The Bemidji Aerials optional level gymnasts began their competitive season at the Holiday Spirit Invitational at Hamline Saturday.

The top scorer for the Aerials was Hannah Gregg who competed in Level 7.

She hit 32.75 with a 9.35 on the vault, 6.25 on the uneven parallel bars, 8.45 on the balance beam and 8.7 in floor exercise.

Alyssa Allen scored 8.9 on the vault, 7.15 on the bars, 8.05 on the beam and 8.175 on the floor for a 31.6 all around.

In Level 8, Haley Gregg hit 7.9 in vaulting, 4.9 on the bars, 8.06 on the beam and 7.875 on the floor for a 29.725 all around finish

Breanna Allen earned 6.8 on the vault, 5.4 on the bars, 7.2 on the beam and 6.575 on the floor for a 26.2.

Competing in Level 9, Cassandra Schram scored 8.15 on the vault, 5.3 on the bars, 8.75 on the beam and 8.3 on the floor for a 39.5 all around total.

The next action for the Aerials will be Saturday when they host the Snow Flake Flip at the Gym Bin.

The optional level gymnasts will demonstrate their routines at 10 with the Level 4-5-6 competition beginning at 11:30.
