Bemidji advances to semifinals with 5-0 win over Hill Murray
ST. PAUL - The Bemidji High School baseball team took its first step toward winning the state Class 3A title Friday morning as it blanked Hill-Murray 5-0 in the quarterfinal round of the state tournament.

Bemidji now will play either Hopkins or Eden Prairie 3 p.m. today in the state semifinals.
That game will be played at Midway Stadium in St. Paul.
Ryan Hirt tossed a 3-hitter and struck out 12 Pioneers. Offensively the Lumberjacks were led by Mason Bellew who had two singles and three RBI.
