The donation supports room renovations at North Country Regional Hospital. Renovations to 12 rooms at the hospital are one of the components of seven that are a part of the Excellence in Healthcare package to enhance health care services and facilities for the region.

Beltrami Electric's cumulative donations throughout the years qualify the cooperative for membership in the Foundation's Major Gifts Club.

When a patient must be hospitalized, it's important to be in an environment that nurtures relaxation and comfort, the NCHS Foundation stated in a news release. The new patient rooms at NCRH provide a relaxing home-away-from-home environment while the remaining rooms are being renovated.

Other items in the Excellence in Healthcare package include GeneXpert System lab equipment, bedside medication verification, same-day surgery TVs, indoor and outdoor healing gardens and spoken menu technology.

Anyone interested in supporting the project should contact the NCHS Foundation at 333-5515.
