The following cases were heard on May 14 by Beltrami District Judge Shari Schucter:

Jack Gordon Phelps, 69, of Bemidji was sentenced for gross misdemeanor DWI. He must serve one year in jail, 355 days of which are stayed for four years. Credit for time served is three days.

He was placed on four years probation.

Mitchell Wayne Brooks, 24, of Bemidji was sentenced for gross misdemeanor fifth-degree criminal sexual conduct. He must serve one year in jail, all of which is stayed for two years.

He was placed on two years probation and must pay a $1,000 fine.

Duane Lee Smith, 24, of Red Lake was sentenced for gross misdemeanor DWI. He must serve one year in jail, 350 days of which are stayed for three years.

He was placed on three years probation and must pay a $500 fine.

Melissa Sue Keena, 22, of Bagley was sentenced for gross misdemeanor child neglect. She must serve 30 days in jail.

She was placed on two years probation, successful completion of which will result in a dismissal of the charge.

Terra Rianngreenleaf, 21, of Bemidji was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI. She must serve one year in jail, 292 days of which are stayed for three years.

She was placed on three years probation and must pay a $700 fine.

Raymond Burl Patch, 40, of Blackduck was sentenced for gross misdemeanor violating an order of protection. He must serve one year in jail, 314 days of which are stayed for two years.

He was placed on two years probation and must pay a $500 fine.

Rhond Jean Cutbank, 37, of Redby was sentenced for gross misdemeanor giving false information to a peace officer. She must serve one year in jail, 245 days of which are stayed for two years.

She was placed on two years probation and must pay a $500 fine.

Corina Marie Dudley, 19, of Bemidji was sentenced for receiving stolen property. She must serve 10 days in jail. Credit for time served is seven days.

She was placed on five years probation, successful completion of which will result in a dismissal of the charge.

The following cases were heard on May 9 and 10 by Beltrami District Judge John Melbye:

Joshua Phillip Mostad, 35, of Bemidji was sentenced for gross misdemeanor interfering with a 911 call. He must serve one year in jail, all of which is stayed for two years.

He was placed on two years probation and must pay a $500 fine.

Matthew Paul Bryan, 27, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony fifth-degree drug possession.

He was placed on five years probation, successful completion of which will result in a misdemeanor conviction. He must pay a $1,000 fine.
