Beltrami County Fair has long list of events
The schedule of events at the Beltrami County Fair July 29-Aug. 2 includes:
Wednesday
The Beltrami County Fair opens at 11 a.m. to accept open class static exhibit entries at 1 p.m. for 4-H Conference judging. The 4-H Pet Show will be held at 5 p.m.; the Kids' Talent Show at 6 p.m.; the Music in Motion Horse Show at 7 p.m.; 4-H Dog Showmanship at 7:30 p.m.; and Music Jam and rededication of the Marilyn Shutter Country Stage from 8-10 p.m. The Gopher State Midway arm band night costs $18 and entertainment will run from 6-11 p.m. The ATV Challenge will begin at 7 p.m. in the grandstand arena. Wednesday is free-gate day. The gate fee on subsequent days is $5 per vehicle or a $10 season pass.
Thursday
Open class judging will begin at 10 a.m. The 4-H Goat Show will begin at 10:30 a.m.; the Bake Off at 3 p.m.; and the 4-H Swine Show at 4 p.m. Entertainment at the Marilyn Shutter Country State will run from 1-10 p.m. Motocross Madness will begin at 7 p.m. in the grandstand arena.
Friday
The 4-H Poultry Show and 4-H Horse Performance & Games Show will begin at 9 a.m. The 4-H Beef Show will be held at 3 p.m.; the Draft Horse Halter Classes at 5:30 p.m.; and the 4-H Fashion Review & Static Exhibits Awards Ceremony at 7 p.m. Entertainment in the Marilyn Shutter Country Stage will run from 1-11 p.m. Triple B Rodeo will begin at 7 p.m. in the grandstand arena.
Saturday
The 4-H Rabbit Show will be held at 8:30 a.m.; Draft Horse Harness Classes at 9:30 a.m.; 4-H Dairy Show at 11:30 a.m.; 4-H Sheep Show at 2 p.m.; Horsemanship Awards at 5 p.m. Noon-5 p.m. is Gopher State Midway arm band time. Entertainment in the Marilyn Shutter Country Stage will run from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Fun in the Barn will begin at 3:30 p.m.; Chicken Races at 4 p.m.; Poultry Parade at 4:30 p.m.; and Sheep Sock Race at 6:30 p.m. Triple B Rodeo will begin at 7 p.m. in the grandstand arena.
Sunday
The Open Horse Show will begin at 8 a.m.; 4-H Dog Agility Show at 10 a.m.; 4-H Market Livestock Auction at 2 p.m. Fun in the Barn will begin with the Paint a Pig Contest at 11 a.m. and Dress a Cow at 12:30 p.m. Entertainment will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Marilyn Shutter Country State. The Demo Derby will begin at 7 p.m. in the grandstand arena. Gopher State Midway arm band time will be from 1-5 p.m.
