The following cases were heard by Beltrami County District Judge Shari Schluchter on June 11:

Scott Lesley Miettinen, 21, of Pennington was sentenced for gross misdemeanor giving a peace officer a false name.
He was sentenced to one year in jail with the sentence stayed for two years. He must pay or work off a $300 fine, pay $160 in fees and serve two years on supervised probation.
Kayla Mae Olson, 18, of North Branch, Minn., was sentenced for gross misdemeanor theft.
She was sentenced to one year in jail with 335 days stayed for two years. She must serve 30 days, pay or work off a $500, pay $160 in fees and serve two years probation.
