The following cases were heard Oct. 16-22 by Beltrami County District Judge John Melbye:

-- Michael Ray Rhineberger, 51, of Solway, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor DWI.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with the sentence stayed for one year. He was placed on probation for one year. He must pay a $750 fine and $105 in fees.

-- David Lowell Jacobson, 63, of Solway, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with the sentence stayed for one year. He was placed on probation for one year. He was given a $750 fine, of which $500 was stayed for one year. He must pay the remaining $250 fine and $108 in fees.

-- Jenell Mae Cobenais, 27, of Red Lake, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor DWI.

She was sentenced to one year in jail with the sentence stayed for one year. She was placed on probation for one year. She was given a $750 fine, of which $500 was stayed for one year. She must pay the remaining $250 fine and $183 in fees.

-- Kim Richard Netland, 35, of Bagley, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor DWI.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with the sentence stayed for one year. He was placed on probation for one year. He must pay a $750 fine and $105 in fees.

-- Robert Lee Allard, 59, of Bemidji, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with the sentence stayed for three years. He was placed on probation for three years. He must pay a $750 fine and $110 in fees.

-- Michael Glenn Sparby, 44, of Bemidji, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor DWI.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with 360 days stayed for two years. He must serve five days in jail on work release, if eligible, by Dec. 1. He may serve in another county if it is at no cost to Beltrami County. He was placed on probation for two years. He must pay a $1,000 fine and $583 in fees.

-- Robin James Hill, 39, of Bemidji, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation inimical to public safety.

He was sentenced to one year in jail stayed for one year. He was placed on probation for one year. He must pay a $50 fine and $85 in fees.

-- Rommain Steven Isham, 54, of Duluth, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor driving uninsured.

He was sentenced to one year in jail, with 350 days stayed for two years. He must serve 15 days. He was placed on probation for two years. He must pay an $800 fine and $160 in fees.

The following cases were heard Oct. 22 by Beltrami County District Judge Paul Benshoof:

-- Margot Elissa Kelsey, 34, of Bemidji, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI.

She was sentenced to one year in jail with 350 days stayed for three years. She must serve 15 days in jail on work release, if eligible, and was given credit for one day served. She was placed on probation for three years. She must pay a $750 fine and $360 in fees.

-- Michael David Millar, 36, of Shevlin, was sentenced for felony domestic assault.

He was sentenced to 12 months and one day in prison with the sentence stayed for five years. He must serve 120 days in jail and was given credit for 81 days served. He was placed on supervised probation for five years. He must pay or work off a $1,000 fine and pay $160 in fees.

-- Dina Rae Janke, 43, of Bemidji, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor second-degree DWI.

She was sentenced to one year in jail with 355 days stayed for four years. She must serve 10 days in jail and was given credit for two days served. She was placed on supervised probation for four years. A $750 fine was stayed. She must pay $110 in fees.

-- Stanley Wayne Bauman Jr., 40, of Bemidji, was sentenced for felony fifth-degree possession of drugs. He was given a stay of imposition; successful completion of probation will result in a misdemeanor conviction.

He must serve 180 days in jail and was given credit for 19 days served. He was placed on supervised probation for 10 years. He must pay or work off a $1,000 fine and pay $160 in fees.

-- Craig Allen Strandlien, 52, of Shevlin, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation inimical to public safety.

Successful completion of probation will result in a dismissal. He must pay $200 in fees.

-- Kara Rebecca Blevins, 22, of Akeley, was sentenced for felony fifth-degree drug possession.

She was sentenced to 63 days in jail with 43 days credited time served. She was placed on supervised probation for five years. Successful completion of probation will result in a dismissal. She must pay $1,075 in fees.

-- Douglas Donald Bock, 48, of Bemidji, was sentenced to gross misdemeanor second-degree DWI.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with 275 days stayed for four years. He must serve 90 days, with 47 days credited time served. He was placed on supervised probation for four years. He must pay a $1,000 fine and $185 in fees.

The following cases were heard Oct. 15 by Beltrami County District Judge Shari Schluchter:

-- Courtney Andrew Whitefeather, 24, of Bemidji, was sentenced for felony third-degree assault, causing substantial bodily harm. He was given a stay of imposition; successful completion of probation will result in a misdemeanor conviction.

He must serve 60 days in jail and was given credit for 41 days served. He was placed on supervised probation for five years. He must pay or work off a $1,000 fine and pay $160 in fees.
