The following cases were heard Nov. 5 by Beltrami County District Court Judge Shari Schluchter:

-- Llewellyn Charles Thunder, 47, of Redby, was sentenced for felony theft by check.

He was sentenced to 12 months and one day in prison with the sentence stayed for five years. He must serve 63 days in jail and five years on supervised probation. He must pay or work off a $750 fine, pay $85 in fees and $1,077.98 in restitution.

-- Jacob Michael Baggenstoss, 31, of Bemidji, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor second-degree DWI.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with 344 days stayed for four years. He must serve 21 days in jail on work release, if eligible, and was given credit for two days served. He was placed on probation for four years. He must pay a $500 fine and $685 in fees.

-- Jefferson Joe Shaw, 38, of Bemidji, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor second-degree DWI.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with 355 days stayed for four years. He must serve 30 days on home detention/electronic monitoring and four years on supervised probation. He must pay $175 in fees.

-- Brandon Joseph Roy, 19, of Bemidji, was sentenced for felony terroristic threats.

He was sentenced to 18 months in prison with the sentence stayed for five years. He must serve 165 days in jail and five years on supervised probation. He must pay a $1,000 fine and $160 in fees.

-- Johnson Dean Tejohn, 25, of Laporte, was sentenced for felony domestic assault and gross misdemeanor second-degree DWI.

For the assault, he was sentenced to 21 months in prison with the sentence stayed for five years. He must serve 202 days in jail and five years on supervised probation. He must pay a $1,000 fine and $160 in fees.

For the DWI, he was sentenced to one year in jail with 163 days stayed for five years. He must serve 202 days in jail and five years on supervised probation. He must pay a $1,000 fine and $25 in fees.
