The Following cases were heard by Beltrami District Judge John Melbye on March 5, 6 and 7:

Rodney Thomas Morris, 44, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony domestic assault. He must serve 79 days in jail and pay a $1,000 fine and $10 in fees.

A sentence of 18 months at the St. Cloud Correctional Facility was stayed for 5 years.

Darin Acklin Cooper, 34, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony terroristic threats. He must serve 30 days in jail. Credit for time served is two days.

He must pay a $1,000 fine and $10 in fees.

Laura Christine Johnson, 23, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony fifth-degree possession of methamphetamine.

She must serve 5 years probation, successful completion of which will result in a dismissal of the charge.

James Alexander Schulz, 29, of Williams was sentenced for felony fifth-degree marijuana possession. He must serve 30 days in jail.

He was placed on probation for five years, successful completion of which will result in a dismissal of the charge.

Alfred Wayne Platt, 46, of Bemidji, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor second- degree DWI. A sentence of one year in jail is stayed for four years.

He must serve four years probation and pay a $750 fine and $10 in fees.

Regie Allen Buranen, 37, of Bemidji was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI. He must serve one year in jail, 350 days of which are stayed for three years. He was placed on probation for three years.

He must pay a $500 fine and $10 in fees.

Amanda Sue Defoe, 23, of Redby was convicted for gross misdemeanor giving a false name to a police officer. He must serve one year in jail, 355 days of which is stayed for two years.

He must serve two years probation and pay a $500 fine and $10 in fees.

Cameron Wentz, 30, of Delhi, N.Y. was sentenced for felony altering a firearm’s identification. He must serve 21 days in jail. He was placed on five years probation, successful completion of which will result in a dismissal of the charge.

He must pay a $1,000 fine and $10 in fees.

Jeffrey James Baltzell, 29, of Solway was sentenced for felony fleeing a peace officer. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail. A sentence of one year and one day at the St. Cloud Correctional Facility was stayed for four years

He was placed on probation for four years and must pay a $1,000 fine and $10 in fees.

The following cases were heard on March 1 and 6 by Beltrami District Judge Paul Benshoof:

Richard Kim Troung, 19, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony theft. He must serve 57 days in jail. He was placed on probation for four years, successful completion of which will result in a dismissal of the charge.

He must pay a $1,000 fine

 and $10 in fees.

Deontranelle Leslie Davis, 26, of Max was sentenced for misdemeanor DWI. He must serve 90 days in jail, 88 days of which are stayed for two years.

He was placed on probation for two years and must pay $500 fine and $10 in fees.

Nicole Marie Taylor, 20, of Cass Lake was sentenced for felony fifth-degree drugs possession She must serve 66 days in jail. She was placed on probation for five years, successful completion of which will result in a dismissal of the charge.

She must pay a $1,000 fine and $10 in fees.

Albert Benaise III, 23, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony failure to register as a predatory offender. He must serve two years at the St. Cloud Correctional Facility. Credit for time served is 71 days.

He must pay a $50 fine.

Rowdy Allen Schipper, 47, of Bemidji was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI. He must serve one year in jail, 320 days of which are stayed for three years. Credit for time served is three days. probation three years. $750 fine.

Trisha Ann Hunter, 34, of Bemidji was sentenced for gross misdemeanor second-degree DWI. She must serve one year in jail, 275 days of which are stayed for four years.

She was placed on probation for four years and must pay a $500 fine and $10 in fees.

Adrian Fredrick Brown, 41, of Red Lake was sentenced for gross misdemeanor driving on a revoked license. He must serve one year in jail, 355 days of which are stayed for two years.

He was placed on probation for two years and must pay a $300 fine and $10 in fees.

Debra Ann Kampa, 48, of St. Cloud was sentenced for felony fifth-degree possession of marijuana. She must serve 30 days in jail.

She was placed on probation five years, successful completion of which will result in a dismissal of the charge.

   Curtis Eugene Isham, 36, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony third-deg possession of a controlled substance. He must serve 79 days in jail. Credit for time served is 53 days. A sentence of 33 months at the St. Cloud Correctional Facility was stayed for 20 years.

He was placed on probation for 20 years and must pay a $1,000 and $10 in fees.

The following cases were heard on March 12, 13 and 14 by Beltrami District Judge Shari Schlucter:

Terry Wayne Tolman, 50, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony fifth-degree possession of marijuana. He must serve 30 days in jail. Credit for time served is 20 days.

He was placed on probation for five years, successful completion of which will result in a dismissal of the charge.

Christopher Brandon Walters, 27, of Bemidji was sentenced for driving with a cancelled license.

He was placed on probation for two years, successful completion of which will result in a dismissal of the charge.

Sherry Lynn Houle, 42, of Bemidji was sentenced for misdemeanor criminal abuse by a caregiver. She must serve 30 days in jail. Credit for time served is 20 days.

She was placed on probation for five years, successful completion of which will result in a dismissal of the charge. She must pay a $1,000 fine and $10 in fees.

Kerry Ann Kellar, 29, of Cass Lake was sentenced for felony fifth-degree possession of marijuana. She must serve 180 days in jail. Credit for time served is 16 days. A sentence of one year and one day at the Shakopee Correctional Facility was stayed for 10 years.

She must pay a $500 fine and $10 in fees.

Autumn Leaf Lagarde, 37, of Bemidji was sentenced for gross misdemeanor terroristic threats. She must serve one year in jail, 353 days of which are stayed for two years.

She must pay a $500 fine and $10 in fees.

Mark Alan Syljuberget, 50, of Crystal was sentenced for gross misdemeanor domestic assault. A sentence of one year in jail was stayed for two years. He was placed on two years probation.

He must pay a $500 fine and $10 in fees.

Scott Alan Anderson, 26, of Shevlin was sentenced for felony third-degree possession of a controlled substance. He must serve 150 days in jail. A sentence of one year and 45 days at the St. Cloud Correctional Facility was stayed for 20 years.

He was placed on probation for 20 years and must pay a $1,100 fine and $10 in fees.

Erik James Loonsfoot, 40, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony fifth-degree possession of methamphetamine. He must serve 81 days in jail. He was placed on probation for five years, successful completion of which will result in a dismissal of the charge.

He must pay a $1,000 fine and $10 in fees.

Dustin Merle Flynn, 22, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony third-degree assault. He must serve 238 days in jail. A sentence of one year and six months at the St. Cloud Correctional Facility was stayed for five years.

He was placed on probation for five years and must pay a $1,000 fine and $10 in fees.

Scott Allen Messner, 25, of Bemidji was sentence for gross misdemeanor third-degree assault. He must serve one year in jail, 335 days of which are stayed for two years. He was placed on probation for two years and must pay a $750 fine and $10 in fees.

Messner was also sentenced for misdemeanor fifth-degree assault. He must serve 90 days in jail, 60 days of which are stayed for one year. He was placed on probation for one year and must pay a $500 fine.

Messner was also sentenced for felony damage to property. He must serve 30 days in jail. Credit for time served is one day. He was placed on probation for five years and must pay a $750 fine.

Matthew James Hvezda, 29, of Longville was sentenced for gross misdemeanor second-degree DWI. A sentence of 275 days was stayed for four years.

He was placed on probation for four years and must pay a $750 fine and $10 in fees.

Laurene Sue May, 29, of Bemidji was sentenced for gross misdemeanor DWI. She must serve one year in jail, 320 days of which are stayed for four years.

She was placed on four years probation and must pay a $1,000 fine and $10 in fees.

Jeremy James Krumrey, 20, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony theft. He must serve 30 days in jail. Credit for time served is four days. He was placed on five years probation, successful completion of which will result in a dismissal of the charge.

He must pay a $1,000 fine and $10 in fees.

Kallie Jo Hannu, 32, of Bemidji was sentenced for gross misdemeanor fraud. She must serve one year in jail, 179 days of which are stayed for two years. She was placed on two years probation and must pay a $500 fine and $10 in fees.

Hannu was also sentenced for felony fifth-degree possession of marijuana. She must serve 186 days in jail. Credit for time served is 124 days. A sentence of 17 months at the Shakopee Correctional Facility was stayed for 10 years.

She was placed on 10 years probation and must pay a $1,000 fine and $10 in fees.

Christopher Michael Robinson, 25, of Bemidji was sentenced for gross misdemeanor obstructing the legal process. He must serve one year in jail, 32 days of which are stayed for two years. Credit for time served is 24 days.

He was placed on two years probation and must pay a $350 fine and $10 in fees.

Joseph Robert Fear, 25, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony fifth-degree possession of methamphetamine. He must serve one year and one month at the St. Cloud Correctional Facility. Credit for time served is 22 days.

Mary Teresa Tamala Gonzalez, 31, of Bemidji was sentenced for gross misdemeanor terroristic threats. She must serve one year in jail, 335 days of which are stayed for two years. Credit for time served is 13 days.

She was placed on two years probation and must pay a $750 fine and $10 in fees.

The following cases were heard on March 8 and 13 by Beltrami District Judge John Melbye:

Micheal Leonard Troxell, 41, of Bagley was sentenced for gross misdemeanor DWI. He must serve one year in jail, 344 days of which are stayed for four years.

He was placed on four years probation and must pay a $1,000 fine and $10 in fees.

Robert Thomas Weis, 56, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony fifth-degree possession of marijuana. A sentence of 13 months of at the St. Cloud Correctional Facility was stayed for 10 years.

He was placed on 10 years probation and must pay a $1,000 fine and $10 in fees.

The following case was heard on March 8 by Beltrami District Judge Paul Benshoof:

Davey Hubert Nelson, 42, of Hines was sentenced for gross misdemeanor theft. He must serve one year in jail, 335 days of which are stayed for two years.

He was placed on probation for two years and must pay a $500 fine and $10 in fees.
