Beltrami County Court Report for June 10

The following cases were heard by Beltrami County District Judge John Melbye:

Dietrich Arntson Drauden, 43, of Blackduck, was sentenced June 4 for gross misdemeanor domestic assault.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with the sentenced stayed for two years. He was sent directly from jail to Teen Challenge.

He was placed on supervised probation for two years.

A $1,000 fine was stayed for two years; he must pay $85 in fines.

Tonia Rae Bissonette, 32, of Cass Lake, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor transaction card fraud.

She was sentenced May 17 to one year in jail with 350 days stayed for two years. She must serve two days in jail. A $1,000 fine was stayed for two years.

She must serve one year of probation and pay $160 in fees.

The following cases were heard by Beltrami County District Judge Paul Benshoof:

Andre Lamont Jones, 41, of Bemidji, was sentenced June 1 for gross misdemeanor DWI, refusal to submit to testing.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with 350 days stayed for three years. He must serve 15 days in jail and was given credit for two days served.

He must pay or work off a $500 and serve three years of probation. He must pay $110 in fines.
