Beltrami County Court Report for July 22

The following cases were heard July 16 by Beltrami County District Court John Melbye:

E David Lee Kingbird, 22, of Cass Lake, was given a stay of imposition for felony theft of a motor vehicle. Successful completion of probation will result in a dismissal.

He must serve 35 days in jail but was given credit for 35 days served. He was placed on supervised probation for five years. He must pay $8,583.73 in restitution and $160 in fees. A $1,000 fine was stayed for five years.

E Davalance Jamie Depoe, 34, of Cloquet, Minn., was sentenced for gross misdemeanor interfering with a 911 emergency telephone call.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with the sentence stayed for two years. He was placed on supervised probation for two years. A $750 fine was stayed for two years. He must pay $85 in fees.

E Yvonne Claire Lussier, 46, of Bemidji, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor DWI.

She was sentenced to one year in jail with 275 days stayed for four years. She must serve 90 days in jail and was given credit for 46 days served. She was placed on probation for four years. A $1,000 fine was stayed for four years. She must pay $110 in fees.

The following case was heard July 10 by Beltrami County District Court Shari Schluchter:

E Robert Michael Miller, 40, of Bemidji, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor theft.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with 335 days stayed for two years. He must serve 30 days on work release and was given credit for 13 days served. He was placed on probation for two years. He must pay or work off a $500 fine and pay $160 in fees.
