The following cases were heard by Beltrami County District Judge Paul Benshoof on July 9:

Tanya Michelle Sanders, 29, of Bemidji, was given a stay of adjudication for felony fifth-degree possession of drugs. Successful completion of probation will result in a dismissal.

She must serve 30 days in jail and was given credit for five days served. She was placed on supervised probation for five years. She must pay $750 in fines.

Ivan George Colgan, 41, of Hallock, Minn., was sentenced for gross misdemeanor driving after cancelation inimical to public safety.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with 350 days stayed for two years. He must serve 15 days and was given credit for three days served. He must serve his time on consecutive weekends and may serve in another county if at no cost to Beltrami County.

He was placed on probation for two years. He must pay a $1,000 fine and $160 in fees.

Arlon Leroy Gunderson, 51, of Bemidji, was given a stay of adjudication for felony fifth-degree possession of drugs.

Successful completion of probation will result in a dismissal.

He must serve 15 days in jail and was given credit for three days served. He was placed on supervised probation for four years. He must pay $575 in fees.

Quentin David Roy Jr., 23, of Red Lake, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with 320 days stayed for four years. He must serve 45 days in jail and was given credit for 10 days served.

He was placed on supervised probation for four years. He must pay or work off a $750 fine and pay $185 in fees.

The following cases were heard by Beltrami County District Judge Shari Schluchter on July 2:

William James Parkhurst, 35, of Red Lake, was sentenced for felony fifth-degree possession of drugs.

He was sentenced to 13 months in prison with the time stayed for 10 years. He must serve 180 days in jail and was given credit for 114 days served. He was placed on supervised probation for 10 years. He must pay a $1,000 fine and $160 in fees.

Tracy Carolyn Graves, 46, of Cass Lake, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor driving after cancelation inimical to public safety.

She was sentenced to one year in jail with 350 days stayed for two years. She must serve 15 days in jail and was given credit for three days served. She was placed on probation for two years. She must pay or work off a $500 fine and pay $160 in fees.
