Beltrami County Court Report for July 1

The following cases were heard by Beltrami County District Judge John Melbye on June 25:

John David Iverson, 32, of Wilton, was sentenced for felony possession of burglary or theft tools.

He was sentenced to 17 months in prison with the sentence stayed for three years. He must serve 88 days in jail.

He was placed on supervised probation for three years. A $1,500 fine will be stayed if he completes the Teen Challenge. He must pay $160 in fines.

Gerome James Winkler, 21, of Puposky, was sentenced for two court files.

For felony theft of a motor vehicle, he was sentenced to 21 months in prison. He must pay $75 in fees.

For felony escape of custody, he was sentenced to 12 months and one day in prison. He was given credit for 207 days served. He must pay $75 in fees.
