In Beltrami County District Court before Judge John Melbye:

Steven Leon Reyes, 42, of Red Lake pleaded guilty and was sentenced Dec. 19 for gross misdemeanor second-degree DWI.

He must serve 60 days of a one-year jail sentence, stayed for four years. He is placed on probation to the court for four years and must pay a $750 fine.

Daniel Keith Schoenborn, 23, of Redby pleaded guilty Dec. 19 for felony theft of motor vehicle and misdemeanor fifth-degree fear of bodily harm or death.

Sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 17.

Jeffrey Alan Lindseth Jr., 32, of Bemidji pleaded guilty and was sentenced Dec. 19 for felony theft by swindle.

He must write a letter of apology and pay restitution of $3,856.61. He is placed on supervised probation for five years and must pay a $500 fine.

Clinton Jordan Stearns, 23, of Park Rapids was sentenced Dec. 19 for misdemeanor domestic assault.

He is sentenced to 90 days in jail, stayed for two years. He is placed on supervised probation for two years and must pay a $300 fine. He must take complete an anger management program and take medications in the prescribed dosage and frequency.

Dale Allen Haglund, 31, of Bemidji was sentenced Dec. 19 for felony fifth-degree controlled substance and gross misdemeanor second-degree DWI.

On the fifth-degree controlled substance charge, he is to serve 30 days in jail and is placed on supervised probation for three years. Successful completion of his probation will result in the dismissal of this charge.

On the second-degree DWI charge, he must serve 30 days of a one-year jail sentence, stayed for four years. He is placed on supervised probation for four years and must pay a $500 fine.

Damion Jon Gullickson, 42, of Naytahwash, Minn., pleaded guilty and was sentenced Dec. 19 for gross misdemeanor second-degree DWI.

He must serve 90 days of a one-year jail sentence, stayed for five years, with 16 days credited for time served. Sentence to serve has been granted to pay off a fine of $750. He is placed on probation to the court for five years.

Nathan Andrew Burnham, 20, of Bemidji pleaded guilty and was sentenced Dec. 19 for gross misdemeanor criminal vehicular homicide or operation.

He must serve 30 days of a one-year jail sentence, stayed for five years, with four days credited for time served. Sentence to serve is granted to pay off a $1,000 fine. He is placed on supervised probation for five years.

Jeffrey Eugene Utley, 49, of Blackduck pleaded guilty and was sentenced Dec. 19 for misdemeanor fourth-degree DWI.

He was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 90 days stayed for two years. He is placed on probation to the court for two years and must pay a $500 fine.

Dawn Marie Kingbird, 40, of Cass Lake pleaded guilty and was sentenced Dec. 19 for gross misdemeanor fifth-degree controlled substance.

She must serve 15 days of a one-year jail sentence, stayed for three years. She is placed on probation to the court for three years and must pay a $1,000 fine.

Vicki Lynn Mostrom, 48, of Red Lake pleaded guilty and was sentenced Dec. 19 for gross misdemeanor giving peace officer false name of another person.

She must serve 10 days of a one-year jail sentence, stayed for two years, with two days credited for time served. She is placed on probation to the court for two years and must pay a $750 fine.

Ronald Keith Turney, 33, of Bemidji pleaded guilty and was sentenced Dec. 19 for felony first-degree DWI.

He is to commit 36 months to the Minnesota correctional facility in St. Cloud, stayed for seven years. A conditional release after confinement has been set at five years.

He must serve 90 days in jail with 21 days credited for time served. He will be granted furlough for treatment. He is placed on supervised probation for seven years and must pay a $5,000 fine.

In Beltrami County District Court before Judge Shari Schluchter:

Joseph Miller VanHorn, 27, Redby pleaded guilty and was sentenced Dec. 13 for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI.

He must serve 39 days of a one-year jail sentence, stayed for three years and is allowed to serve on work release or sentence to serve. He is placed on probation to the court for three years and must pay a fine of $1,000.

Raymond Emmet Portz, 23, of Wyoming, Minn., pleaded guilty and was sentenced Dec. 13 for gross misdemeanor take/use/transfer of movable prop with no consent.

He must serve 30 days of a one-year in jail sentence, stayed for two years. He is placed on probation to the court for two years and must pay a $750 fine.

Derek Daniel Bohan, 33, of Blackduck pleaded guilty and was sentenced Dec. 13 for gross misdemeanor second-degree DWI and misdemeanor interfering with a peace officer.

On the second-degree DWI charge, he must serve 30 days of a one-year jail sentence, stayed for four years, and is eligible for work release. Credit for time served is two days. He is placed on probation to the court for four years and must pay a fine of $300.

On the interfering with a peace officer charge, he must serve 30 days of a 90-day jail sentence, stayed for one year. He is eligible for work release. He is placed on probation to the court for one year, pay a $450 fine and has been granted community service.

Guy Lewis Carter, 47, of Bemidji pleaded guilty and was sentenced Dec. 13 for gross misdemeanor driving after cancelation inimical to public safety.

He must serve 10 days in jail on work release, if eligible and is placed on probation to the court for two years.

Cathy Ann Northbird, 40, of Cass Lake pleaded guilty and was sentenced Dec. 13 for gross misdemeanor second-degree DWI.

She must serve 45 days of a one-year jail sentence, stayed for four years, with credit for six days served. She is placed on probation to the court for four years and must pay a $500 fine.

Gordon Harold Durkin, 61, of Solway pleaded guilty and was sentenced Dec. 13, for gross misdemeanor second-degree DWI.

He must serve 30 days of a one-year jail sentence, stayed for five years. He is placed on probation to the court for five years and must pay a $750 fine.

Joyce Elaine Hoff, 53, of Wilton pleaded guilty and was sentenced Dec. 27 for second-degree DWI.

She must serve 30 days of a one-year jail sentence, stayed for four years, with two days of credit for time served. She will be granted furlough for treatment if jail allows her to attend AA meetings. She has been granted sentence to serve for a fine of $750, and is placed on probation to the court for four years.

Chas Allen Eckman, 20, of Bemidji was sentenced Dec. 27 for felony fifth-degree controlled substance.

He received a stay of adjudication and must serve 30 days in jail, with two days of credit for time served. He is placed on supervised probation for five years and must obtain a high school diploma.

Steven Dean Cluff, 27, of Wilton pleaded guilty and was sentenced Dec. 27 for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI.

He must serve 30 days of a one-year jail sentenced, stayed for four years, with seven days credited for time served. He is placed on probation to the court for four years and must pay a $1,000 fine.

Thomas Chase Shepperdson, 25, of Bemidji pleaded guilty and was sentenced Dec. 13 for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with the sentenced stayed for three years. He is placed on supervised probation for three years and must pay a $1,000 fine.

Bernard Douglas Brown, 26, of Cass Lake, pleaded guilty and was sentenced Dec. 13 for gross misdemeanor giving peace officer false name of another person.

He must serve 39 days of a one-year jail sentence, stayed for two years, with 26 days credited for time served. He is placed on probation to the court for two years and must pay a $500 fine.

Paul Robert Vandenhoek, 37, of Shakopee, Minn., pleaded guilty and was sentenced Dec. 5 to misdemeanor fourth-degree DWI and carrying pistol under the influence of alcohol.

On the fourth-degree DWI, he must serve one day of a 90-day jail sentence, stayed for two years. He is placed on probation to the court for two years and must pay a $500 fine.

On the carrying pistol charge, he must serve one day of a 90-day jail sentence, stayed for one year, with one day credited for time served. He is placed on probation to the court for one year and must pay a $300 fine.

Josh Martin Grotberg, 34, of Ramsay, Mich., pleaded guilty and was sentenced Dec. 12 for second-degree DWI.

He must serve 30 days of a one-year jail sentence, stayed for four years, with two days credited for time served. He may serve in Michigan if there is no cost to Beltrami County. He is placed on probation to the court for four years and must pay a $250 fine.

Todd Marweg, 41, of Bemidji, pleaded guilty Dec. 13 for gross misdemeanor domestic assault.

Sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 17.
