Beltrami County Court Report for February 19

The following cases were handled by Beltrami County District Judge John Melbye between Jan. 30-Feb. 7:

Sabin Mitchell Myhra, 21, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony and gross misdemeanor charges of theft.

He must serve one year in jail, five years of supervised probation, pay a total of $17,606.07 in restitution, complete a mental health assessment, take medications in the prescribed dosage and pay a $1,000 fine.

Ryan Andrew Hanegmon, 21, of Hibbing, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor giving a peace officer a false name and misdemeanor liquor consumption by persons under 21.

He must serve 90 days of a one-year jail sentence, stayed for two years, two years of probation, and pay a $550 fine.

Jason Lee Condiff, 35, of Park Rapids, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI.

He must attend an alcoholic anonymous meeting, serve 30 days of a one-year jail sentence, stayed for three years, three years of probation and pay a $750 fine.

Yvonne Verleen Smith, 41, of Bemidji, pleaded guilty to felony third-degree controlled substance.

Sentencing will be March 5.

Dennis Lee Littlewolf, 37, of Walker, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor possession of a pistol or assault weapon and misdemeanor driving after revocation.

He must serve one year in jail, stayed for two years, two years of probation and pay a $1,000 fine.

Harry Allen Hansen, 63, of Bemidji, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation - inimical to public safety.

He must serve one year in jail, stayed for two years, serve two years of probation and pay a $500 fine.

Jared Michael Johnson, 30, of Redby, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI.

He must serve 30 days of a one-year jail sentence, stayed for four years, with five days credited for time served, four years of probation, and pay a $1,000 fine.

Harold William Heck Jr., 47, of Kelliher, pleaded guilty and was sentenced for gross misdemeanor DWI.

He must serve 30 days in jail, stayed for four years, four years of probation, complete a chemical assessment and pay a $500 fine.

The following cases were handled by Beltrami County District Judge Shari Schluchter between Jan. 17-Feb. 10:

Samuel James Bellanger, 35, of Bemidji of Deer River, pleaded guilty for felony violating a no contact order.

Sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 10.

Manly Michael McDermott, 19, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony theft.

He must serve 84 days in jail, with 56 days credited for time served, 10 years of supervised probation and pay a $500 fine.

Christopher John Clark, 20, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony third-degree burglary.

He must serve 46 days in jail, with 46 days credited for time served, five years of probation, obtain a GED and pay a $1,000 fine.

Travis Dean Brun, 31, of Red Lake, was sentenced to felony third-degree controlled substance.

He must serve 90 days in jail, with 19 days credited for time served, and 20 years of supervised probation.

Todd Marweg, 41, of Bemidji was sentenced for gross misdemeanor domestic assault.

He must serve 123 of a one-year jail sentenced, stayed for two years, two years of supervised probation and pay a $1,000 fine.

Deran Delvon Hill, 29, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony fifth-degree drugs.

He must serve 30 days in jail.

Daniel Keith Schoenborn, 23, of Redby was sentenced for gross misdemeanor obstruction of the legal process.

He must serve one year in jail, stayed for two years, two years of probation and pay a $500 fine.

Jeffrey Robert Glime, 62, of Bemidji was sentenced for gross misdemeanor domestic assault.

He must comply with all medical and mental health professionals and their recommendations, follow recommendations of evaluation from veterans administrative medical center in regards to chemical dependency, serve four days of a one-year jail sentence, stayed for two years, with four days credited for time served, two years of supervised probation and pay a $750 fine.

Brian John Williams, 46, of Bemidji, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor interfering with a 911 call.

He must serve one year in jail, stayed for two years, two years of probation, complete three months of treatment at the Center for Human Environment and pay a $200 fine.

Aaron Morris Swenson, 23, of Redwood Falls, Minn., was sentenced for misdemeanor giving a peace officer a false name and felony violating a no contact order.

He must serve one year in jail, with 242 days credited for time served, and pay an $850 fine.

Jason Conrad Stone, 20, of Bemidji, pleaded guilty and was sentenced for gross misdemeanor interfering with a peace officer.

He must serve 25 days of a one-year jail sentence, stayed for two years, two years of probation and pay a $500 fine.

Cory A. Olson, 38, of Pinewood, was sentenced for felony domestic assault.

He must serve undergo domestic abuse counseling and treatment, serve five years of probation and pay a $50 fine.

Pedro Escarcega Rios, 28, of Bemidji, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor DWI.

He must serve 30 days of a one-year jail sentence, stayed for four years, four years of probation and pay a $1,000 fine.

Carol Ann Jones, 46, of Bemidji, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI and felony fourth-degree assaulting a peace officer.

She must serve 136 days in jail, stayed for four years, with 91 days credited for time served, four years of probation and pay $2,000 in fines.

Kyle Robert Lussier, 24, of Bemidji, was sentenced for using a credit card without the owner's consent and two counts of property theft, both felonies.

He must serve 231 days in jail, five years of supervised probation, pay $2,500 in restitution and pay a $250 fine.

The following cases were handled by Beltrami County District Judge Paul Benshoof between Jan. 10-Feb. 13:

Ricky Lee Lidel, 56, of Bemidji, pleaded guilty for felony fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle and felony possession of a pistol/assault weapon.

Sentencing will be March 5.

Hunter Craig Pemberton, 19, of Cass Lake pleaded guilty for felony first-degree aggravated robbery and felony simple robbery.

Sentencing will be March 5.

Amber Rai Whelan, 26, of Bemidji pleaded guilty for felony counts of first-degree and fifth-degree controlled substance.

Sentencing will be March 5.

Dennis Lloyd Carrigan, 58, of Northome, pleaded guilty and was sentenced for gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety.

He must serve 10 days of a one-year jail sentence, stayed for two years, with three days credited for time served, two years of probation, pay a $500 fine and be on electronic home monitoring for five days.

Cecelia Marie Ogema, 36, of Cass Lake was sentenced for gross misdemeanor fourth-degree burglary.

She must serve 70 days of a one-year jail sentence, stayed for two years, with 47 days credited for time served, attend a family violence program and pay a $500 fine.

Maynard Kevin Goodbear, 34, of Cass Lake, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor theft by check.

He must serve 30 days of a one-year jail sentence, stayed for two years, with two days credited for time served, pay a $200 fine, not possess checkbooks or a checking account and pay $1,318.91 in restitution.
