The following cases were heard on Jan. 29 by Beltrami District Judge Shari Schlucter:

Blaise Onchagwa Nyaronge, 23, of Bemidji was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI. He must serve one year in jail, 363 days of which are stayed for three years. Credit for time served is two days.

He must pay a $750 fine and $10 in fees.

Nyaronge was also sentneced for misdemeanor issuing a dishonored check. He was sentenced to five days in jail, five days of which are stayed for one year. He must pay a $50 fine.

Whitney Marie Aurand, 22, of Blackduck was sentenced for misdemeanor fourth-degree DWI. She must serve 90 days in jail, 90 days of which are stayed for two years.

She must pay a $500 fine and $10 in fees.

Winfield William White, 23, of Red Lake was sentenced for gross misdemeanor second-degree DWI. He must serve one year in jail, 275 days of which is stayed for four years. Credit for time served is four days.

He must pay a $1,000 fine and $10 in fees.

The following case was heard on Jan. 29 by Beltrami District Judge John Melbye:

Jared Robert Nash, 27, of Grand Forks was sentenced for gross misdemeanor driving with a cancelled license. He must serve one year in jail, 345 days of which are stayed for two years. Credit for time served is four days.

He must pay a $250 fine and $10 in fees.

The following cases were heard on Feb. 4, 6 and 7 by Beltrami District Judge Shari Schlucter:

Kenneth John Knutson, 44, of Tenstrike was sentenced for gross misdemeanor theft. He must serve one year in jail, 335 days of which are stayed for two years. He must pay a $500 fine and $10 in fees.

Emilio James Bunker, 20, of Laporte was sentenced for gross misdemeanor possession of a firearm by a felon. He must serve one year in jail, 355 days of which are stayed for two years. Credit for time served is seven days.

He must pay a $750 fine and $10 in fees.

Damian Allen Kingbird, 30, of Bemidji was sentenced for gross misdemeanor obstruction of the legal process. He must serve one year in jail, 349 days of which are stayed for two years.

He must pay a $500 fine and $10 in fees.

Steven Arnold Soper, 22, of Bemidji was sentenced for gross misdemeanor thirddegree DWI. He must serve one year in jail, 355 days of which are stayed for three years. Credit for time served is two days.

He must pay a $250 fine and $10 in fees.

Robert Earle Koslowski, 44, of Hibbing was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI. He must serve one year in jail, 355 days of which are stayed for three years. Credit for time served is three days.

He must pay a $250 fine and $10 in fees.

James Earl Strong, 38, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony theft of a motor vehicle. A sentence of 15 months at the St. Cloud Correctional Facility was stayed for five years. He must serve 63 days in the Beltrami County Jail. Credit for time served is 42 days.

He must pay a $1,000 fine and $10 in fees.

Brain Dale Preston, 48, of Bemidji was sentenced for gross misdemeanor driving with a revoked license. He must serve one year in jail, stayed for two years. He was placed on two years probation.

He must pay a $75 and $10 in fees.

The following cases were heard on Feb. 5, 6, and 7 by Beltrami District Judge Paul Benshoof:

Ronald Elliot Skinaway Jr., 28, of Cass Lake was sentenced for felony firstdegree DWI. A sentence of 42 months at the St. Cloud Correctional Facility is stayed for seven years. He must serve 12 days in the Beltrami County Jail, and was placed on supervised probation for seven years.

He must pay a $1,000 fine and $10 in fees.

Jeffery Damon Brown, 40, of Cass Lake was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI. He must serve one year in jail, 344 days of which are stayed for three years. Credit for time served is 14 days.

He must pay a $500 fine and $10 in fees.

William Everett Anthony Isham, 26, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony thirddegree assault. He must serve two years at the St. Cloud Correctional Facility. Credit for time served is 22 days.

He must pay a $50 fine and $10 in fees.

Benjamin Roy Bromaghin, 22, of Bagley was sentenced for gross misdemeanor second-degree DWI. He must serve one year in jail, 275 days of which is stayed for four years. Credit for time served is eight days.

He must pay a $700 fine and $10 in fees.

Patrick Lloyd Sanfilippo, 25, of Bemidji was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI. He must serve one year in jail, 350 days of which are stayed for three years. Credit for time served is six days.

He must pay $500 in fines and $10 in fees.
