In Beltrami County District Court before District Judge Paul Benshoof:

Timony Leonard Bellanger, 35, of Bemidji, pleaded guilty and was sentenced for gross misdemeanor driving after cancelation inimical to public safety.

He must serve 48 days of a one-year jail sentence, with credit for 33 days served, and serve two years of probation. He must pay a $500 fine. Community service is granted for the fine.

Bernadette Marie Gross, 26, of Bemidji, pleaded guilty and was sentenced Oct. 31 for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI.

She must serve 10 days of a one-year jail sentence, with credit for three days served, and three years of probation. She must pay a $250 fine.

Erica Lynn Busse, 23, of Bemidji, pleaded guilty and was sentenced Oct. 31 for gross misdemeanor giving a peace officer a false name.

She must serve 45 days of a one-year jail sentence, serve two years of probation and pay a $300 fine.

Daniel Derek Barnes, 19, of Cass Lake, pleaded guilty and was sentenced Oct. 31 for gross misdemeanor third-degree damage to property.

He must serve 17 days of a one-year jail sentence, with credit for 18 days served, and two years of probation. He must pay a $300 fine. Restitution is reserved.

In Beltrami County District Court before District Judge John Melbye:

George James Winkler, 21, of Red Lake, pleaded guilty and was sentenced Nov. 7 for felony third-degree burglary, felony theft of motor vehicle, felony fleeing peace officer in motor vehicle and felony fourth-degree assault of a peace officer.

On the burglary charge, he was sentenced to 21 months in prison, stayed for five years, and must pay a $500 fine.

On the motor vehicle theft conviction, he was sentenced to 15 months in prison, stayed for five years, and must pay a $500 fine.

On the assault charge, he was sentenced to 15 months in prison, stayed for five years.

On the fleeing a peace officer conviction, he was sentenced to 12 months and one day in prison, stayed for five years, and must pay a $500 fine. This sentence is consecutive to the other three sentences, which run concurrent.

He must serve 143 days in jail, which is what he was given credit for, and pay restitution.

Gerald Ray Dobson, 40, of Bemidji, pleaded guilty and was sentenced Nov. 7 for felony refusal to submit to testing.

He was sentenced to 42 months in prison, stayed for seven years, and was released from custody. He must serve seven years of probation and pay a $1,500 fine. His sentence is consecutive to two other cases.

Mark Allen Nelson, 47, of Kelliher, pleaded guilty and was sentenced Nov. 7 for felony first-degree DWI.

He was sentenced to 54 months in prison, stayed for five years, and must serve one year in jail, with credit for 109 days served. He must serve seven years of supervised probation and was fined $1,500.

Carl Lewayne White, 29, of Bemidji, pleaded guilty and was sentenced Nov. 7 for felony first-degree DWI.

He was sentenced to 42 months in prison, stayed for seven years, and must serve 90 days in jail, with credit for 83 days served. He must serve seven years of supervised probation.A $1,500 was stayed until Nov. 7, 2018.

Corey Lee Graves, 36, of Bemidji, pleaded guilty and was sentenced Nov. 7 for gross misdemeanor driving after cancelation inimical to public safety.

He received a stay of adjudication and must serve 10 days in jail and one year of probation.

Amanda Lynn Charwood, 24, of Pennington, pleaded guilty and was sentenced Nov. 7 for gross misdemeanor neglect of a child.

She must serve 30 days of a one-year jail sentence and two years of probation, and pay $50 of a $750 fine. She must comply with a CHIPS case.

In Beltrami County District Court before District Judge Shari Schluchter:

Toni Rae Smith, 37, of Bena, pleaded guilty and was sentenced Nov. 14 for gross misdemeanor domestic assault.

She must serve 201 days of a a one-year jail sentence, with credit for 134 days served. She must serve two years of supervised probation, pay a $1,000 fine, take medication as prescribed, receive domestic abuse counseling and treatment and undergo an educational assessment program.

Delores Tobbi Yellow, 30, of Red Lake, pleaded guilty and was sentenced Nov. 14 for gross misdemeanor giving peace officer a false name.

She must serve 15 days of a one-year jail sentence, pay a $500 fine and serve two years of probation. Her sentence is consecutive to another case.

Jason Curtis Silcox, 28, of Walker, pleaded guilty and was sentenced Nov. 14 for gross misdemeanor second-degree DWI.

He must serve 36 days of a one-year jail sentence and four years of supervised probation.

Richard Allen Clark, 41, of Redby, pleaded guilty and was sentenced Nov. 14 for gross misdemeanor second-degree DWI and domestic assault.

On the DWI charge, he must serve 90 days of a one-year jail sentence, with credit for 39 days served, pay a $750 fine and serve five years of supervised probation. He must undergo domestic abuse counseling and treatment and have no contact with his victim.

On the domestic assault conviction, to be served consecutively, he must serve 30 days of a one-year jail sentence, pay a $750 fine and serve two years of supervised probation.

Chad Michael Hedman, 33, of Fargo, pleaded guilty and was sentenced Nov. 14 for four felony counts of possession of pornographic images. A fifth count of possession of pornographic images was dismissed.

He must serve 30 days in jail and five years of supervised probation and pay a $400 fine. He must register as a predatory offender, attend a sex offender program and remain in Minnesota. He must not possess or use pornographic or sexually explicit materials, must have no access to the Internet without approval, must have no unsupervised contact with minors.

Billy Dale Vincent, 34, of Bemidji, pleaded guilty and was sentenced Nov. 14 for felony fifth-degree drug possession.

He was sentenced to 19 months in prison, stayed for 10 years. He must serve six months in mail, with credit for 103 days served, and serve 10 years of supervised probation. He must pay a $1,000 fine.

Derek John White, 31, of Redby, pleaded guilty and was sentenced Nov. 14 for felony third-degree drug possession, felony fifth-degree drug possession and gross misdemeanor DWI.

On the third-degree drug possession conviction, he was sentenced to 93 months in prison, an upward departure because he is a career offender.

On the fifth-degree drug possession conviction, he was sentenced to 21 months, concurrent to the first sentence.

On the DWI conviction, he must serve one year in jail.

He was credited with 158 days served.

Betsy Lorraine Maxwell, 33, of Red Lake, pleaded guilty and was sentenced Nov. 14 for felony third-degree drug possession.

She received a stay of adjudication and must serve 30 days in jail and five years of supervised probation. Successful completion of probation will result in a dismissal. She must pay a $1,000 fine.

Richard Frank Cloud, 39, of Cass Lake, pleaded guilty and was sentenced Nov. 14 for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI.

He must serve 30 days of a one-year jail sentence, with credit for 17 days served, serve four years of probation and pay a $500 fine. His sentence is concurrent with another sentence.
