The following cases were heard Nov. 20-27 by Beltrami County District Court Judge Shari Schluchter:

-- Joseph Dale Sargent, 42, of Bemidji, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor second-degree DWI.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with 320 days stayed for four years. He must serve 45 days in jail, on work release if eligible, and four years on probation. He must pay or work off a $750 fine and pay $435 in fees.

-- Michelle Marie Huewe, 46, of Mankato, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor driving while impaired – operating a motor vehicle when the body contains any amount of a Schedule I/II narcotic, not marijuana.

She was sentenced to one year in jail with 320 days stayed for four years. She must serve 45 days in jail and four years on supervised probation. She must pay or work off $1,000 in fines and pay $185 in fees.

-- Eli Joseph Raisch, 33, of Bemidji, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI, refusal to submit to testing.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with 350 days stayed for three years. He must serve 15 days in jail and three years on probation. He must pay or work off $750 in fines and pay $185 in fees.

-- David Lee Kiser, 31, of Bemidji, was sentenced for felony theft. He was given a stay of imposition: successful completion of his probation will result in a misdemeanor conviction.

He must serve 40 days in jail and five years on supervised probation. He must pay a $1,000 fine and $160 in fees.

-- Toby Eugene Larson, 40, of Bemidji, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI, refusal to submit to testing.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with 361 days stayed for two years. He must serve four days in jail but was given credit for four days served. He must serve two years probation and pay a $1,200 fine and $90 in fees.

-- Robin Lee Lussier, 23, of Bemidji, was sentenced for felony escape from custody.

She was sentenced to 12 months and one day in prison with the sentence stayed for five years. She must serve five years on supervised probation. A $1,000 fine was stayed for five years. She must pay $160 in fees.

-- Miranda Marie Vojak, 21, of Becida, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI.

She was sentenced to one year in jail with 355 days stayed for three years. She must serve 10 days in jail and was given credit for four days served. She was placed on probation for three years. She must pay or work off a $500 fine and pay $410 in fees.

The following cases were heard Nov. 19 by Beltrami County District Court Judge John Melbye:

-- Kristie Jo Coyle, 23, of Bagley, was sentenced for felony theft. She was given a stay of adjudication: successful completion of her probation will result in a dismissal.

She was placed on supervised probation for five years. She must pay $1,075 in fees.

-- Justin Lee Hunt, 22, of Mahnomen, was sentenced for felony fifth-degree drugs. He was given a stay of adjudication: successful completion of his probation will result in a dismissal.

He must serve 45 days in jail and was given credit for 30 days already served. He was placed on supervised probation for five years. He must pay $1,075 in fees.

-- Darlene Ann Beaulieau, 69, of Red Lake, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor driving after cancelation inimical to public safety. She was given a stay of adjudication: successful completion of her probation will result in a dismissal.

She must serve two days in jail, two years on probation and pay $200 in fees.

-- Gabriel Anthony Virkus, 33, of Bemidji, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with 355 days stayed for three years. He must serve 30 days in jail, on work release if eligible, and three years on probation. He must pay or work off a $750 fine and pay $185 in fees.

-- Austin Joseph LaFriniere, 20, of Bagley, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor giving a peace officer a false name.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with the sentence stayed for two years. He was placed on probation for two years. He must pay a $500 fine and $85 in fees.

-- Laurie Marie Tejohn, 30, of Cass Lake, was sentenced for felony fifth-degree drugs. She was given a stay of adjudication: successful completion of her probation will result in a dismissal.

She must serve 86 days in jail and five years on supervised probation. She must pay $575 in fees.

-- Brendin Andrew Rickert, 20, of Bemidji, was sentenced for felony predatory offender, knowingly violates registration requirement.

He was sentenced to 24 months in prison with the sentence stayed for five years. He must serve 193 days in jail and was placed on supervised probation for five years. He must pay a $1,000 fine and $160 in fees.

The following cases were heard Nov. 13 by Beltrami County District Court Judge Paul Benshoof:

-- Clinton Robert Zenius, 26, of Apple Valley, Minn., was sentenced for two charges.

For felony fleeing police in a motor vehicle, he was sentenced to 22 months in prison with the sentence stayed for four years. He must serve 60 days in jail and was given credit for 28 days served. He was placed on supervised probation for four years.

For gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI, he was sentenced to one year in jail with 335 days stayed for four years. He must serve 40 days in jail and was given credit for 20 days served. He was placed on supervised probation for four years. He must pay or work off a $500 fine and pay $435 in fees.

-- Angela Lynn Tejohn, 24, of Cass Lake, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI.

She was sentenced to one year in jail with 317 days stayed for four years. She must serve 48 days in jail and was given credit for 33 days served. He was placed on supervised probation for four years. He must pay or work off a $500 fine and pay $185 in fees.

-- Alicia Ruby Bellanger, 27, of Deer River, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor giving a peace officer a false name.

She was sentenced to one year in jail with 347 days stayed for two years. She must serve 18 days in jail and was given credit for 12 days served. She was placed on probation for two years. She must pay or work off a $500 fine and pay $160 in fees.
