The following cases were heard between July 30 and Aug. 7 by Beltrami County District Court Judge Paul Benshoof:

-- Brandon Joseph Rossbach, 27, of Bemidji, was sentenced on two separate charges.

For felony fifth-degree assault, he was sentenced to 18 months in prison with the sentence stayed for five years. He must serve 120 days in jail and was given credit for seven days served. He must immediately enter and successfully complete post-traumatic stress disorder treatment at the Bemidji Veterans Administration Clinic. A referral to an in-patient Kansas City PTSD program would be accepted. He was placed on supervised probation for five years. He must pay a $1,000 fine and $85 in fees.

For felony terroristic threats, he was sentenced to 12 months and one day in prison with the sentence stayed for five years. He was placed on supervised probation for five years. He must pay a $1,000 fine and $6,108.63 in restitution.

-- Scott Jesse Anderson, 41, of East Grand Forks, Minn., was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with 344 days stayed for three years. He must serve 21 days in jail and was given credit for five days served. Work release was granted. He also may serve in another county if it is at no expense to Beltrami County. He was placed on probation for three years. He must pay a $750 fine and $110 in fees.

The following cases were heard Aug. 6 by Beltrami County District Court Judge John Melbye:

-- Stacie Little Clark, 34, of Redby, was sentenced on two separate charges.

For gross misdemeanor giving a peace officer a false name or name of another, she was sentenced to one year in jail with the sentence stayed for two years. She was placed on supervised probation for two years. She must pay a $500 fine and $160 in fees.

For gross misdemeanor escape from custody, she was sentenced to one year in jail with the sentence stayed for two years. She was placed on supervised probation for two years. She must pay a $500 fine and $160 in fees.

-- Patrick Donald Conley, 46, of Bemidji, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor DWI.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with 335 days stayed for two years. He must serve 30 days in jail on work release and was placed on probation for two years. He also must serve 60 days on electronic home monitoring and alcohol monitoring. He must pay or work off a $750 fine and pay $355 in fees.

-- Frank Donald Nei, 26, of Guthrie, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with 335 days stayed for three years. He must serve 30 days in jail on work release and was given credit for three days served. He was placed on probation for three years. He must pay or work off a $750 fine and pay $110 in fees.

-- Troy Allen Faughn, 27, of Bemidji, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor driving after cancelation inimical to public safety.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with 335 days stayed for two years. He must serve 30 days in jail. He was placed on supervised probation for two years. He must pay a $750 fine and $160 in fees.

-- Darrin Lee Nielsen, 41, of Bemidji, was sentenced on three separate charges.

For felony theft by swindle, he was sentenced to 15 months in prison and was given credit for 182 days served. He must pay a $50 fine and $160 in fees.

For felony possession or sale of stolen or counterfeit checks, he was sentenced to 15 months in prison and was given credit for 182 days served. He must pay a $50 fine and $160 in fees.

For felony third-degree drugs, he was sentenced to 39 months in prison and was given credit for 182 days served. He must pay $150 in fees.

-- Lance David Week, 25, of Bemidji, was sentenced for felony fifth-degree drugs.

He was sentenced to 12 months and one day in prison with the sentenced stayed for 10 years. He must pay or work off a $1,000 fine and pay $160 in fees.

-- Joel Clarence Velisek, 46, of Bemidji, was sentenced on two separate charges.

For gross misdemeanor domestic assault, he was sentenced to one year in jail with 275 days stayed for two years. He must serve 90 days in jail and was given credit for 46 days served. He was placed on supervised probation for two years. He must pay or work off a $600 fine and pay $160 in fees.

For gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI, he was sentenced to one year in jail with 335 days stayed for three years. He must serve 30 days in jail and was placed on supervised probation for three years. He must pay or work off a $750 fine and pay $185 in fees.

-- Carole Jane Kuiawinski, 52, of Blackduck, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor second-degree DWI.

She was sentenced to one year in jail with 320 days stayed for four years. She must serve 45 days in jail and was given credit for 14 days served. She was placed on probation for four years. She must pay or work off a $750 fine and pay $360 in fees.

The following cases were heard Aug. 13 by Beltrami County District Court Judge Shari Schluchter:

-- Bradley James Lueck, 30, of Bemidji, was sentenced on three separate charges.

For gross misdemeanor DWI, he was sentenced to one year in jail with 335 days stayed for six years. He must serve 30 days on work release, if eligible, and was placed on probation for six years. He must pay a $1,000 fine and $110 in fees.

-- For gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI, he was sentenced to one year in jail with 335 days stayed for three years. He must serve 30 days on work release, if eligible, and was placed on probation for three years. He must pay a $750 fine and $108 in fees.

For gross misdemeanor driving after cancelation inimical to public safety, he was given a stay of adjudication. Successful completion of probation will result in a dismissal. He was placed on probation for two years. He must pay $500 in court costs.

-- Justin Wade Sandmeyer, 52, of Bemidji, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with 355 days stayed for three years. He must serve 10 days in jail on work release, if eligible, and was given credit for two days served. He was placed on probation for three years. He must pay a $750 fine and $358 in fees.

-- Eugene Richard Standingcloud, 48, of Ponemah, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with 355 days stayed for three years. He must serve 10 days in jail and was given credit for four days served. He was placed on probation for three years. He must pay a $250 fine and $585 in fees.

-- Ryan Jon Klemmetsen, 25, of Bagley, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with 335 days stayed for three years. He must serve 30 days on work release, if eligible, and was given credit for one day served. He was placed on probation for three years. He must pay a $1,000 fine and $83 in fees.

-- Darnell Eugene Perkins, 33, of Ponemah, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with 355 days stayed for three years. He must pay a $250 fine and $908 in fees.

-- Sheldon George Bailey, 47, of Red Lake, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor second-degree DWI.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with 320 days stayed for three years. He must serve 45 days on work release, if eligible, and was given credit for one day served. He was placed on probation for three years. He must pay a $500 fine and $660 in fees.

-- Daniel Erang Olson, 34, of Bemidji, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor DWI.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with 307 days stayed for five years. He must serve 58 days in jail and was placed on probation for five years. He must pay or work off a $1,000 fine and pay $180 in fees.
