The following case was handled by Beltrami County District Judge Shari Schluchter on March 6:

Mark Allen Mahoney, 51, of Bemidji, pleaded guilty to an amended plea and was sentenced for felony terroristic threats-reckless disregard risk.

He must serve two days of a 90-day jail sentence, stayed for one year, with two days credited for time served, one year of probation and pay a $150 fine.

The following cases were handled by Beltrami County District Judge Paul Benshoof on March 26:

Jeffrey Paul Siegel, 53, of Bemidji, pleaded guilty and was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI.

He must serve three days of a 90-day jail sentence, stayed for two years, with three days credited for time served, two years of probation and pay a $400 fine.

Anne Melanie Vleck, 33, of Bemidji, pleaded guilty and was sentenced for gross misdemeanor second-degree DWI-refusal to submit to a chemical test.

She must complete an alcohol assessment within 60 days, serve 45 days of a one-year jail sentenced, stayed for four years, four years of supervised probation and pay a $500 fine.

Rachel Rebecca Danielson, 35, of Perham, was sentenced for felony theft by check.

She must serve 196 days in jail with 131 days credited for time served, five years of supervised probation, pay $1,575.08 in restitution and a $1,000 fine.

Ronald Joseph Staples, 26, of Bemidji, was sentenced for felony second-degree burglary.

He must have no contact with the victim except through a third party and then only for visitation purposes, submit to random searches, complete an alcohol assessment within 45 days of being released, serve 90 days in jail with 37 days credited for time served, 10 years of supervised probation and pay a $1,000 fine.

Dante B. Grant, 24, of Lincoln, Neb., pleaded guilty and was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI.

He must complete an alcohol assessment within 60 days, serve 45 days of a one-year jail sentence, stayed for three years, with three days credited for time served, three years of probation and pay a $750 fine.

Ricarda Ninette Wright, 40, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance.

She must serve 36 days in jail with 24 days credited for time served and five years of supervised probation.

Edwin Lee Johnson, 40, of Bemidji, was sentenced for felony fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle.

He must serve four years of supervised probation and pay a $1,000 fine.

Hunter Craig Pemberton, 19, of Cass Lake, was sentenced for felony first-degree aggravated robbery.

He must complete a mental health evaluation as soon as possible, complete an alcohol assessment within 60 days, serve 90 days in jail with 59 days credited for time served, 20 years of supervised probation and pay a $1,000 fine.
