Beltrami County Board to meet

BEMIDJI- The Beltrami County board of commissioners will meet Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. with their regular meeting set for 5:00 p.m. in the council chambers.

Beltrami County Sheriff Phiil Hodapp will meet with the commissioners at the work meeting to discuss allowing video visitations at the county jail.

Turn Key Corrections, a vendor that provides with other services has proposed a new service that would allow prisoners to visit with people via video at a charge of $0.35 cents per minute. The county would receive 30 percent of the fees.

At the regular meeting, the board will receive an update on the activities of the Minn. Rural Counties Caucus and Greater Minn. Regional Park and Trail Coalition .
