Beltrami County Board: County must adopt MPCA rules on sewage systems

Beltrami County is prepared to adopt massive changes to its ordinance governing sewage systems, as directed by the state, which means more cost and additional staff.


The state has taken two years to work through changes to its Rule 7080, which regulates individual on-site sewage treatment systems, and is now mandating counties to conform to the new Rule 7080 by Feb. 4.
