Beltrami County, Bemidji hosting Citizens Academy

The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office and Bemidji Police Department will host the biannual Citizens Academy, an educational opportunity for any citizen, of any age, interested in law enforcement, emergency response and volunteering with their agencies.

Academy classes will be from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Thursdays at the Law Enforcement Center Training Room at 613 Minnesota Ave. NW in Bemidji.

Classes start March 1 and end March 29. Reservations for the classes are recommended. Email beryl.wernberg@co.beltrami.co.us or call 333-8320 for reservations and for more information.
