Beltrami County adminstrator's resignation on board agenda
Bemidji Minnesota P.O. Box 455 56619

BEMIDJI - The Beltrami County Board of Commissioners is expected to formally accept the resignation of its county administrator today.

Tony Murphy, who has served in that position for more than a decade, submitted his resignation on March 29, stating that he is considering other employment options.

Commissioners are expected to accept his notice, effective May 1, during its regular meeting at 5 p.m. today in the County Administration Building, 701 Minnesota Ave. N.W. There will be no work session.

Also on the agenda is consideration of a 2012 Resident Survey.

A resident survey was conducted in 2011 and, at that time, there was interest in conducting the survey on a consistent basis to judge changes in perception.

A proposal has been submitted from national research Center to document the survey at a cost of $16,500, according to the county board packet.
