Beaver Pride will sponsor a fan bus to Washington, D.C., next week for the Frozen Four.
The bus will depart at 8 a.m. April 8 from the John Glas Fieldhouse at Bemidji State University and will arrive at about noon April 9 in Washington, D.C.
The BSU Beavers will play the RedHawks of Miami (Ohio) University at 4 p.m. April 9 at the Verizon Center.
The bus will stay for the entire tournament, including the championship game at 6 p.m. April 11. The bus will depart immediately following the championship game.
The cost to ride the bus is $180 per person.
Bus passengers will be responsible for their own lodging.
Beaver Pride has arranged a block of rooms at Red Roof Inn Downtown and at Grand Hyatt Hotel. Both hotels are within walking distance of the arena.
Tickets to the Frozen Four cost $177 each and are available at the BSU ticket office by calling 755-2045 or stopping into Deputy 202 at BSU.
People must secure their own Frozen Four tickets. The ticket price is not included with the bus price.
There must be 49 passengers to take the bus. If the bus does not fill up, the bus trip will be canceled. However, if there are enough passengers for another bus, more than one bus will make the trip.
To reserve a spot on the bus or for more details on lodging, contact Beaver Pride Coordinator Wray Wright at 755-2827, 218-368-1244 and firstname.lastname@example.org.
