Beaver men's basketball: Huskies rally to sink Beavers

St. Cloud State rallied from a five-point halftime deficit Saturday night and stormed back to beat Bemidji State 80-69 in men's basketball.

The Huskies have now won nine straight games and improve to 12-2 overall and 6-1 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference with the win, while Bemidji State dropped to 5-9 and 2-6 in the conference with their sixth straight loss.

St. Cloud State came out the locker room and went on a 12-3 run in the first five minutes of the second half to take a 48-44 lead. The Huskies then continued to pressure the Beavers, allowing just eight field goals in the half, after Bemidji State made nearly 67 percent of its field goals in the first half.

Bryce Tesdahl and Seth Haake led the Beavers with 15 points each. Patrick Cassidy added 14, Lance Rongstad 12 and Mason Walters 10.
