October meeting minutes

The October meeting called to order by Chelsey. Pledges were said and roll call was taken with six present, four absent, one leader and no visitors.

The minutes of last meeting were read by Tanner. Rhonda motioned, Renae seconded and they were approved. The treasurer's report was given by Rhonda we have $248. Renae motioned, Courtney seconded and the report was approved.

Old Business

Our 2009-2010 officers are:

• President: Chelsey Adams

• Vice President: Tanner Schuh

• Secretary/Reporter: Mandy Pula

• Treasurer: Clara Notsch

• County Council: Jane Schuh, Rhonda Schuh, Tanner Schuh and Renae Swanson.

Congratulations to all!

Beltrami County held an awards banquet Oct. 10. If you were not there and didn't get your awards, see Jane. Officer training will be held Nov. 21 at 1 p.m. Leader training will be held Nov. 2.

New Business

Enrolment forms and dues are due back to Jane in the November meeting or sooner. Dues are $10 per member or $25 max per family.

County Council Officers are:

• Treasurer: Renae Swanson

Citizens State Bank is our primary bank. Rhonda motioned Renae seconded and it was approved to make it our primary bank again.

We will be making two big posters to hang up in the school building Renae will talk to the office to make sure it is ok and Rhonda will talk to the art teacher to see if we can use the art supplies. We will hang one by the dumping area and the other down at the elementary end. We will also make some smaller ones to hang at Village One Stop, the bank and around town. They will hold date, time, place, leader, phone number and the motto. We also approved charter review.

Other Business

Rhonda will have a project talk for November. There will be no games or food next meeting because of officer training. Next meeting is Nov. 21. Tanner motioned to adjourn and Rhonda seconded.

November meeting minutes

The Nov. 21 meeting was called to order. Pledges were said and roll call was taken with 11 present, three absent, two leaders and three visitors. Minutes of last meeting read by Jane. Renae motiond and Courtney seconded and they passed.

The treasurer's report giving by Clara. Hattie motioned, Emily seconded and the motion passed.

Renae made a motion to take Betsy Hanks off the check book and put Lori Notsch on as adult treasurer as motioned by Renae and seconded by Clara. The motion passed. Jane and Lori will go the bank on Friday to tend to this.

Old business

Officer training is tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the food booth at the Beltrami County Fairgrounds. Leader training is Nov. 30 at 6 p.m. in the food booth at the fairgrounds. Enrollments are due today as are dues.

New Business

The Christmas party is Dec 19 with swimming at 10:30 a.m. then back to the community center for potluck, games and gifts. We drew names for gift exchange. There is a $5 limit. Bring games and fun thing we can do.

We want to welcome five new members to our club and the 4-H experience. Jane wants project talks to start in January.

December meeting minutes

The December meeting called to order. Pledges were said. Roll call was taken by Jane with 12 present, two absent, four leaders and three visitors.

Minutes of the last meeting were read by Jane. It was motioned by Rhonda and seconded by Renae to acept them and the motion passed.

The treasurer's report was read by Clara and we have $296.09. It was motioned by Renae seconded by Rhonda and the motion passed.

Old Business

Officer training and leader training, how did it go? This was discussed. We went swimming at the AmericInn in Blackduck. We had a good time. We went back to the Kelliher Community Center for games, gifts, potluck and fun times. We had a short meeting at 2:30 p.m.

Other Business

Record covers. Renae made a motion to order record covers and Hattie seconded it. The motion passed.

Project talks were done. Next month they will be done by Rhonda, Renae and Courtney.

Fun stuff for next month will be done by the Schuhs. Food for this meeting was potluck and for the next meeting, the Notschs will bring food. The next meeting will be Jan. 16 at 10:30 a.m.

Rhonda made the motion to adjourn and it was seconded by Renae.
