October meeting minutes
The meeting was called to order by Chelsey. Pledges were said and roll call was taken and there were six present, four absent,one leader and no visitors.
The minutes of the last meeting were read by Tanner and then approved. The treasurer's report was then given by Rhonda. It was stated that the group has $248. The report was then approved.
New officers are as follows: president is Chelsey Adams, vice president is Tanner Schuh, secretary/reporter is Mandy Pula, treasurer is Clara Notsch, county council will consist of Jane Schuh, Rhonda Schuh, Tanner Schuh and Renae Swanson.
Beltrami County held an awards banquet Oct. 10. If you didn't get your awards, see Jane.
Officer training was held Nov. 21. Leader training was held Nov. 2.
Enrollment forms are due to Jane. Dues are $10 per member of $25 max per family.
County council officers are Haley Erickson, president; Tiffany Mason, vice president; Tricia Longfellow, secretary; Tanner Schuh, reporter and Renae Swanson, treasurer.
Citizens State Bank is the club's primary bank.
The group will be making two big posters advertising themselves to hang up in the school building. Renae will talk to the office to make sure it is ok and Rhonda will talk to the art teacher to see if we can use the art supplies. We will hang pone by the dumping area and the other down at the elementary end. We will also make smaller ones to hang at VOS, the bank and around town. The will hold the date, time, place, leader, phone number and motto. We also approved the charter review.
Rhonda will have the project talk in November. Because of officer training in November, there will be no games or food at the next meeting Nov. 21. The meeting was then adjourned.
November meeting minutes
The Nov. 21 meeting was called to order at 10:30 a.m.
Pledges were said and roll call was taken with 11 present, three absent, two leaders, and three visitors. Minutes of last meeting were read by Jane. Renae made the motion and Courtney seconded and it passed. The treasurer's report as given by Clara. Hattie made the motion, Emily seconded and the motion passed. Renae made a motion to take Betsy Hanks' off the check book and put Lori Notsch on as adult treasurer. Clara seconded and the motion passed. Jane and Lori will go the bank Friday to tend to this.
Officer training is at 6:30 p.m. in the food booth at the Beltrami County Fairgrounds. Leader training is Nov. 30 at 6 p.m. in the food booth at the fairgrounds. Enrollments are due today as are dues.
The Christmas party is Dec 19, swimming will be at 10:30 a.m. the meet at the back to the community center for potluck, games and gifts. We drew names for gift exchange and there is a $5 limit. Bring games and fun thing we can do.
We want to welcome our five new members to our club and the 4-H experience. Jane wants project talks to start in January.
