It lifted Chris Conway's forces to 6-7 on the year.

They return to league play this weekend hosting Crookston Saturday at 1 and Ada Sunday at 2 in twin bills at BSU.

Hinckley piled up a 6-0 lead into the seventh before the Blue Ox averted a shutout in Saturday's opener.

Auston Zetah singled in the lone run in the last of the frame before the final three batters fanned.

Comeback win

The Blue Ox scored three times in the third and fourth to overcome a 4-2 deficit and turn back Proctor.

The Ox scored twice in the first on hits by Dan Bennett, Colton Smith and Joel Conway but trailed 4-2 when they plated three in the third on hits by Smith, Joel Conway and Nick Cherry around an error.

It became 8-4 in the fourth with Tom Jonsten, Bennett and Chris and Joel Conway getting singles and 9-4 in the sixth on Bennett's double and a single by Smith.

Chris Mundt's two-run home in the seventh provided the final Proctor runs.

Lefty Sam Saccoman went the distance fanning seven to get his first win.

Bennett and Joel Conway each had three hits for the Ox.

Strong finish

Bemidji again overcame an early deficit to win over Warroad scoring four in the sixth to snap a 3-3 tie and five in the seventh to pull away.

Hits by Smith and Chris Conway produced a first inning run.

Warroad scored twice in the second only to see the Blue Ox tie with a third inning tally on a walk and hits by the Conway brothers.

Warroad went back in front 3-2 in the fourth and Bemidji knotted the count again in the fifth on hits by the Conways.

The winning rally in the sixth and the five more runs in the seventh put the game away.

Chris Conway had five hits and five rbi to lead and attack. Joel Conway had three hits and Pat McSharry and Jonsten two.
