Bagley woman injured in semi-car crash

A 51-year-old Bagley woman suffered serious injuries after the vehicle she was driving collided into a semi trailer this morning.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Roberta Thompson was driving a 2001 Buick LeSabre north on state Highway 92 around 7 a.m. when she struck the right rear of a semi trailer.

John Rusch, 46, of Bismarck, ND, was driving a freight semi southbound on state Highway 92, and was turning left into a private drive when Thompson hit the right rear of his trailer.

Thompson's was transported to a nearby hospital and her injuries were reported to be non-life threatening. Her vehicle was totaled. Rusch suffered no apparent injury and the semi trailer had minor damage.
