Bagley woman faces drug, alcohol charges

Tambra Ann Laws, 50, of Box 334, Bagley has been charged in Becker County District Court with two felony counts of fifth-degree controlled substance crime - possession, and two gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI charges.

According to court records: On July 17 a trooper on Highway 59 allegedly observed her driving erratically after receiving a complaint from another motorist.

Her blood alcohol level allegedly tested at .11 percent, and she had a number of pills in her possession, both prescription and non-prescription.

She allegedly told the trooper she was glad he got her off the road because she was "high as a kite."

On Jan. 6 District Judge Joe Evans issued a summons for her to appear Jan. 26.
