The festivities begin with the 5k Run, Walk, Waddle or Flop. Registration starts at 8 a.m. and the race begins at 9 a.m.

There will be a pancake feed at the wayside rest from 8:30-11:30 am. This is being sponsored by the Blackduck German and Spanish clubs.

The parade begins at noon sharp at the high school. When the parade is over, head down to the wayside rest for the bulk of the activities or if you are hungry following the parade, head on over to the Blackduck Senior Center for a pie and ice cream social!

Bring your cameras along because from 1-4 p.m., special guest SpongeBob Squarepants will be in town and would love to have his picture take with your kids!

Activities happening throughout the day, from 1-5 p.m., include the firemen's water fight, the Crayon bounce house, the Titanic slide, Iron Man obstacle course, tropical maze, five-in-one bounce and play, bungee run, water wars, sawdust dig and minnow races.

There will be adult tricycle races at 3:30 p.m. and you won't want to miss that!

All the fun and activity making you hungry? Food vendors will be there ready to serve you. There will also be a beer tent available for the thirsty crowds.

At 5 p.m. there will be a sweet corn feed sponsored by Faith Lutheran Church.

Still wanting more as the sun goes down? For those over 21, head down to the Party at the Pond. Atlantis begins playing at 9 pm.

There promises to be something for everyone and all are welcome to take part in the day's activities and see Blackduck at its finest! Come join us, won't you?
