Audrey Mae Krueger
Audrey Mae Krueger 86 of Blackduck died at her home in Blackduck, MN on Wednesday May 8, 2013.
Funeral services will be at 4:00pm on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Holy Trinity Lutheran church of Blackduck, with Pastor Allen Wierschke officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Friday May 10, 2013 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Blackduck and one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Lakeview Cemetery in Blackduck, MN under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers will be, Chris Nord, Brian Krueger, Troy Depew, Jon Holliday, Nick Grundmeier, Drew Grundmeier, Tanner Depew, Ryan Nord, Eric Nord, Cody Nord, and Wayne Sutton. Honorary pallbearers will be Al Gray, Dave Krueger, Steve Krueger, Jim Krueger, Brian Walker, Ken Walker, Tim Walker, Lowell Miller, Mark Anderson and Craig Bergren.
She was born on May 28, 1926 in Hornet Township near Blackduck Minnesota to Carl and Clara (Rundquist) Bergren. She attended the Murray School in Hornet Township and graduated from Blackduck High School in 1944.
She married Donald Krueger on June 26, 1946 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Hornet Township and they made their home on the family farm. She was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and Ladies Aide. She was a 4-H leader, active in the Hornet Helping Hand Club and a member of the Blackduck American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by children Roger (Debbie) Krueger, Sue (Murl) Nord, Albert Krueger all of Blackduck and Patti Krueger of Bemidji; 5 grandchildren Rachel (Al) Gray, Tammi (Troy) Depew, Dr. Chris (Amy) Nord, Brian (Erin) Krueger, Lisa (Maj. Jon ) Holliday; 10 great-grandchildren, Nick and Drew Grundmeier, Tanner, Tucker, and Trapper Depew, Emma and Jack Nord, Sam, Joanna and Eliza Krueger; a sister-in-law Margaret (Bill) Walker, sister-in-law Doris Krueger and several honorary grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Krueger, parents, Walter and Clara Bergren and sisters, Wanda Orr, Virginia Lindquist, brothers, Lyle Bergren, Wayne Bergren and Dale Bergren.
