ASI awards scholarships

The Bemidji Affiliate of the American Swedish Institute awarded scholarships to students to attend Sjölunden - the Swedish Language Village at Concordia Language Villages - this summer.

Morgan June Sagedahl of Bemidji received the Edna Kroll & Monica O'Boyle Scholarship.

Joseph Najjar of Wadena, Minn., received the Lloyd Johnson Memorial Scholarship.

Sarah Najjar of Wadena, Minn., received the Clif Swenson Scholarship.

The ASI awards scholarships every year to students ages 7-17 to attend camp.
